About Me

I have been sewing since I was in grade school. Mom made sure we always had something to do with our spare time. She kept my sister Dana and I busy, making doll clothes, cross stitching, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, and painting. The clothes I made were not always fit for public, but it was always fun. When my mom and sister started quilting in the 80's, I finally joined in around 1990. We soon found it to be a common touchstone for the three of us. I love the creative process of quilting and like to push myself and others to create unique variations of traditional and modern quilting.

I love hand and machine quilting, applique, designing patterns and sharing what I have learned.  I love to push myself and expand my skills.  My friends will tell you I love to help people expand their comfort zone and open their minds to what is possible in their capabilities farther than they ever thought they could.

We recently relocated to Alabama to be near family and our precious granddaughter and I am still getting my bearings in the Alabama quilting community!  My husband Pete and I moved from Oregon but are originally hail from Southern California.

I have worked for KETIV Technologies, in Fullerton for over 26 years. By day, I manage a Technical Team.  We train and support engineers as they learn products like Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, AutoCAD P&ID, Plant 3D and AutoCAD Electrical.  We provide essential guidance, technology and support to empower today's innovators for a better tomorrow.

To me, life is a big puzzle to solve, one piece at a time.  When I am not helping other people with their challenges, I'm creating challenges that take me to the next level.

Thanks for stopping by, I would love to hear from you.

Sincerely,
Nicole Morris
