I'm Nicole Morris. I have been sewing since I was in grade school. Mom made sure we always had something to do with our spare time. She kept my sister Dana and I busy, making doll clothes, cross stitching, knitting, crochetting, embroidering, and painting. The clothes I made were not always fit for public, but it was always fun. When my mom and sister started quilting in the 80's, I joined in about the early 90's. We soon found it to be a common touchstone for the three of us.
My husband Pete and I live in Anaheim Hills and we married in 2002. We both grew up in Orange County and went to different high schools together. I say that because we figured since we were at rival high schools at the same time we probably were at the same events and never met....never met. (anyone pick the Harry Met Sally reference? We live with our Cat WillieNO! aka Williegitdown! Pete and Willie give great input when it comes to my quilts, more Pete than Willie. They even give great input when asked. They are good boys and are supportive in everything I do.
I have worked for KETIV Technologies, in Fullerton for over 12 years. By day, I am a Senior Applications Engineer. I train and support engineers as they learn products like Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD P&ID and AutoCAD Electrical. I also help my tech team with Air Traffic Control related functions.
I love puzzles and problem solving and quilting gives me a creative outlet for that. When I am not helping other people with their challenges, I'm creating challenges for myself.
Thanks for stoppping by, I would love to hear from you.
