Giveaway!

May 1st will be the one year anniversary of my blog, so I would like to celebrate next week with a giveaway.


1st Prize -  Dottie by Moda fat quarter pack from Secred Moondance Quilt Shop in Lake Forest, California, and a will be the first to receive a copy of my new pattern Sam I Am.



2nd Prize - Tic-Tac Oh! pattern and enough 2" pre-cut strips in Basic Grey to make this pattern.  (You will only need to add background and border fabric)

Willie's going for the jugular!

    Somewhere this is a gadget you can add to make it super easy for people to publish your blog to their blog, FB, Google Reader, email, etc. I have it at the bottom of each of my entries but can't seem to figure out how I got it there to tell you. grrr...

    And I have lots of favorite blogs for many reasons, but I think my "favorite" favorite would be Karrie Lyne's blog, Freckled Whimsy. Reasons? Tidbit Tuesday, her great quilt designs, and her fun sense of humor! If I see a new post of her in my list, it's always the first one I go to!     I hve a number of favorite quilt blogs! I like Stray Stitches -- love the info on what day it is (for example, Pineaqpple Upside Down Cake Day!) and I love the quote she starts each post with. I think any blog that I really like has its own personality, its own quirky interests -- and of course, warmth toward other quilters.

    I love this question as it's fun to read what blogs are favorites to other readers and maybe check them out :) One of my favorites is Linda over at Stray Stitches (straystitches1.blogspot.com). I love the way her blog is organized with great personal stories, little history lessons/famous quotes and fun info, giveaways, and final thought of the day. She's the bomb :)

    I would love to win those dots! I have this thing about dotted fabric, and not that it matters but my daughter's birthday is May 1st. If I were to win, I'd make her a birthday quilt :)
